Quora Question : What secrets are you hiding from your parents?

I am sure every teenager ,young adult or even little doodles hides somethings from their parent. I hides a lots of things from my parent because I come from really strict background my parent did not allow me to do many things when I was younger

1. I am not allow to eat inside my bedroom, but I buy snack and hide in my closet so I could eat in my room without their notice.
2. I don’t have drawing books, sometime I tear my exercise books so I could get extra paper to draw on it.
3. I have very tight schedule during my younger age, I need to attend to school bands and tuition after school, sometime I sneak out from the tuition class or even my my school hour to have fun.
4. I am not allowed to hang out with friends after school because I got a poor result when I was 9 or 10, I am prohibited to go out cycling with my friends, I have depression, and suicidal thoughts from a very young age.
5. I like my grandparents more than my own parents, because I was raised up by them when i was young. I think my parents should have noticed this.
6. When I was little my parents sent me to tuition, I felt I just wanted to run away from the tuition center.
7. I start dating from very young age, like 16. I hid my first and second boyfriends from them, They have only seen my third boyfriend, they thought I only dated once and he is my first boyfriend.
8. I don’t like my mother comparing me with the other kids, It is very sad that she is never proud of me.
9. I never tell any secrets to my mother, she would call our relatives and tell them everything if I tell her.
10. I secretly buy dog and cat biscuits for the stray dogs and cats around my housing area, (I am never allowed to keep pets, my parents are the very clean-conscious type of person) every time I pretend I go jogging, I feed those dogs and cats.
11. When I was little, I never really liked to drink milk, I just lied to my parents so they would buy me milk to be able to feed the little kitten on my backyards.
12. I was very weird, I eat my biscuits outside so when the crackers drops on the backyard, I could spend time discovering the ants.
13. I always use the hand sprinkler to pretend there it is raining indoors, the feeling of little water droplets on my face and skin is awesome.

14. I talk to people I meet online, some of them I even meet in person, my parent tend to worried too much, so far the people I met are lecturers and all are quite normal without any intentions.

15. I hide my sentimental posts from my parent by using Facebook features. They just worried too much.

16. I have never really went to my class during my secondary school, I sneaked out from class to join the band in my school. Neither my parent nor my teacher found out. Since I hand in my homework, the teachers still think I am a good student, they did not know I sneaked out a lot.

17. I dated my first boyfriend for 2 years, after my school, he sent me to tuition class every Friday, non of my parent find out.

18. I use a lot of rude words outside my house. I swear a lot when I talk to my friends, My parent do not know that yet.

19. When I was in primary school, my parents got me catering food, I never ate it, I didn’t like to eat when I was young. I always waste the food, ok, that why I am so petite and never grow taller.

20. I write my diary in mandarin on purpose, since my parents cannot read Chinese.

The conclusion of mine is: The more strict the parents are, the sneakier your kid is.
